On Thursday October 11, 2018, the Faculty of Business Administration at AL Maaref University organized an orientation meeting for the new students in the presence of the Faculty Dean Professor Hussin Hejase; Assistant Dean Dr. Ali El Dirani, & Accounting Department Chairman Dr. Hasan Rkein.

The meeting included a video presentation of the most prominent activities of the faculty during the previous academic year. Followed by a speech of the Faculty Dean Professor Hejase, who talked about the academic system in the university, emphasizing on students’ perseverance and the importance of not surrendering to any emergent challenges or obstacles in the next three years. He also confirmed that all faculty members are always ready to support and help students whenever it is needed. 

Afterwards, Assistant Dean Dr. El-Dirani gave a presentation about the role of the Academic Advisor during the academic journey in the Faculty and University. He also focused on the importance of students’ participation in faculty activities, proactively seeking to build an exceptional social and academic life based on excellence in the University.

Accounting Department Chairman Dr. Hasan Rkein also talked about the importance of education nowadays, pointing on the need for perseverance and determination to reach the desired goals.

At the end of the meeting, students were able to ask all burning questions that shed the light for them about ways for adapting with the new and exciting start of an academic year at Al Maaref University.
