A range of courses precedent or concurrent to the Major of study is delivered to students to enhance and broaden their intellectual, rational, linguistic and cultural skills. These courses are accounted typically as part of a scheme of academic support that is cross-departmental and feeds into the acculturation of the students to master the courses requirements of the majors and their technical electives
The academic support courses offer students also with an opportunity to improve their critical thinking, their competencies to accept the other and being problem solvers. The aim is to nurture the spirit of inquiry and hunger for knowledge using the most updated pedagogical models and techniques to support students’ learning and eagerness to improve their ways of thinking.
The academic services courses are sourced by qualified instructors in liaison with different faculties.
The academic services courses are delivered by instructors assigned from different faculties with competencies that can be easily transmitted to others using blended education techniques and humane approach toward the others. Students will be exposed to ethical, methodological, and creative principles aimed at continuous improvement and active learning.
