Services and Facilities

The University is committed to the provision of best support services for its students.

The aim is to enable students to have an opportunity to express their learning capabilities and meet the learning outcomes of university life. 

The faculties, in collaboration with some departments, are working jointly to create an effective support environment that empowers students to acquire effective linguistic communication and writing skills.

These skills will help them in carrying out their assignments or projects as requested by the three faculties and their departments.

 

The University holds a series of seminars and workshops that are focused on refining one's skills and capabilities over the semesters. These include the following: 

  1. providing advice and general or specific support for creative writing.

  2. delivering individual tutorials and group workshops to help with academic writing, e.g. essay and project structuring, grammar, punctuation, critical thinking, etc.

  3. information, contacts, and guidance.

  4. holding events that cater collective academic thinking and writing needs.

 

The Library/Learning Resources Center

The Library at MU contains all the appropriate books, journals, magazines, newsletters and other reference materials for all the majors offered by the Faculties.

The Library is well equipped with series of networked PC terminals.

Students can have access to the internet including some virtual platforms that are necessary for achieving their learning objectives for each of the courses in any of the majors provided by the faculties. 

During the teaching semesters, the Library is open from 9:00 am till 8:00 pm, five days a week. During Student Vacation periods, the opening times are restricted. 

 

Professional Placement Services

Before graduation, MU offers:

  1. Career advice and services.
  2. Job hunting help and support.

 

Student Clubs and Societies

This includes:

  1. Clubs and societies promoting a sense of cause in all aspects of university life and studies.
  2. Elected representatives.
  3. Regular, carefully selected activities throughout the year.

 

Medical Coverage

Packages encompass:

  1. The National Social Security Fund (NSSF)
  2. Private Health Insurance

 

Cafeteria

At MU, we make sure to:

  1. Offer a rich variety of delicious and healthy food including sandwiches, platters, hot and cold beverages, snacks and juices, etc.
  2. Follow strict Lebanese and International Hygiene and Health standards.

 

 

Parking Spaces and Sport Facilities

Located directly next to the main University premises are: 

  1. MU's Parking spaces
  2. MU's Sports playground
  3. Municipal's Sports Centre
